March Beauty Picks

I love beauty products. Especially products that are VEGAN and CRUELTY-FREE. You’ll notice a trend throughout my beauty picks that I tend to navigate towards the same brands. About a year ago, I made the switch to (mostly) all natural/organic beauty products. I wanted to see if it made a difference in my skin and IT DID. It took about 3 months for me to see the results, but I have to say my skin has never been better. A lot of the products I wear are cruelty-free, however there are a bunch that aren’t too. A little background on my skin type….

I’m super oily

I dry out like nobody’s business

I have large pores

I am prone to break-outs

I suffer from blemishes

Did that cover pretty much everything? Yes. I have been cursed…I mean, BLESSED (sorry Dad), with your run of the mill “combination” skin. I suffered from acne during my teenage years and still have body acne from time to time. My oiliness has seemed to only worsen with age, but my blemishes are almost non-existent. My pores are still large and in charge, and during the winter I get these super attractive flakes of dry skin around my mouth and my T-zone. Being a woman is so. much. fun. So, if you suffer from perfect skin, read no further.

Amara Organics Total Repair Eye Gel

So…your a mom. Your kid was up all night with a cold. At the same time you decided to NOT sleep and instead, binge watch Gilmore Girls on Netflix (come on, I KNOW that’s not just me). You made a cup of coffee at 8 pm and basically have decided that sleep is no longer a necessity. I get you, girl. You wake up and notice that you have officially become an extra from The Walking Dead. Look no further because I have an amazing product. I found this little bottle of wonder on Amazon of all places. It reduces circles and puffy eyes with soothing cucumber. It’s very lightweight and not greasy. I can instantly feel results. The Hyaluronic Acid instantly tightens your skin. I can LEGIT feel it tighten. Plus, it’s all natural and cruelty free, so it’s a necessity in my house.

Evologie Intensive Blemish Serum

This stuff makes my teenage heart happy. If only this little baby existed back in the 7th grade when “he who will remain unnamed” called me Pizza Face. I found this product in a monthly Ipsy bag and gave it a whirl. I noticed after 2 months of repeated use, that my blemishes were less severe. This serum uses honey extract and chamomilla flower to calm down inflammation and soothe skin.

This stuff just rocks. There’s no other way to describe it. It locks in moisture and smells delicious. Plus, it’s made with gotu kola stem cell  and chlorella. Chlorella is an amazing algae that can help produce collagen in your skin. Gotu Kola stem cell can lighten dark spots and helps protect from sun damage.

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette

Please ignore the dirty mirror in this picture. It should show how often I use this thing. This palette is so beautiful. Every naked palette is gorgeous, but this one is my favorite. It features gorgeous hues of pinks, rose golds, and neutrals. With Spring around the corner, this is a must have.
